Parapsychology and studies of UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomenon, formerly UFOs, or unidentified flying objects) are navigating the divide between an academically accepted “nuts & bolts” approach to inquiry versus the less acceptable examination of “high strangeness” phenomena. This talk will encourage the idea that no study of UAP is complete without considering human consciousness, including its less-understood aspects encountered in shamanism, mediumship, remote viewing, and advanced meditation techniques.
