A few announcements about tomorrow’s workshop:
First, a big THANK YOU to everyone who has registered so far with donations through Eventzilla! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to pay the registration fees to create an Xprize team for our developing “parapsychological” approach to carbon removal, use some paid advertising to promote the event, and alleviate the cost burden for some of the platform fees required to use Airmeet for the event.
Unfortunately, Eventzilla’s registration has not been meeting our standards for a smooth registration process. We are getting word of people get hung up on the registration button or ending up in an endless loop of redirects as they try to donate.
It is really important for us to have wide participation in the event, so we are removing the Eventzilla barrier and giving everyone direct access to the event at Airmeet, where you can register for free: https://www.airmeet.com/e/ae3f6670-48af-11ec-a698-619a9d382b96
This event is entirely volunteer-run and there are still a number of expenses that are coming out of organizers’ personal pockets. If you have the means, please support your free registration with a “pay what you can” donation (suggested $5-$25) at: https://donorbox.org/support-public-parapsychology
Finally, there have been a few adjustments to the schedule, so please look it over carefully at the page linked below. We will be launching the event with a 30 minute speed-networking session and we highly recommend that you participate so that you can meet a few new people right at the start of this highly interactive weekend event.
Thank you so much for your support of Public Parapsychology.
