The purpose of this study is to reach a wider audience of people with epilepsy who may have what might be considered exceptional, anomalous and spiritual experiences. This study is important as it will allow us to understand how many people have such experiences that they may not discuss elsewhere. The online survey considers the depth and breadth of experience of individuals with epilepsy and their consequent view of spirituality.

Participation will take about 30 minutes. During this time, you will be asked to answer questions regarding past and current experiences. It is your right to skip any question that you do not want to answer. You can take the survey in your own time.

We hope to be able to use the information from this project to inform epilepsy professionals about the range of different experiences that people with epilepsy have, so that they can offer better care.

We have attached a flyer and further information. The survey can be accessed online using the following link:

If you are interested in participating in the survey and would like more information, please feel free to contact Louise at Louise.spiers@northampton.ac.uk.
