PA Online Symposium: The Interrelations of Psi & UAP [February 25th, 2023]

The Parapsychological Association is hosting a symposium titled “Shared Deviance: The Interrelations of Psi & UAP” on February 25th, 2023.

This symposium addresses the interrelations between unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and psi phenomena. Although psi phenomena are rarely discussed in the recent debates about documentations of UAP by particularly military bodies, there exists a huge phenomenological overlap between the two fields. This includes the occurrence of inexplicable lights, movements, levitations, sudden appearance and disappearance of objects, apparitional experiences, and malfunction of electronic devices. We will consider the possible implications of these findings and will furthermore argue that the growing interest and acceptance of UAP in mainstream media outlets should lead to a concomitant interest and acceptance of psi phenomena.
